 Health examinations

  • for young people from the age of 13 to 14 (J1): thorough physical examination and vaccination advice

  • For adults from the age of 18 to the age of 35 a one-time thorough physical examination, lifestyle and vaccination advice

  • For adults from the age of 35 every 3 years, a thorough physical examination, vaccination advice, screening for hepatitis B and C, cholesterol and blood sugar determination, blood pressure and urine control for the early detection of chronic diseases, which could be averted if necessary through lifestyle changes

  • For adult men over the age of 65 one-time ultrasound examination of the abdominal aorta for enlargement (aneurysm)

 Cancer screening examinations

  • Early detection of skin cancer from the age of 35 every 3 years, also possible together with the preventive examination

  • From the age of 45, annual cancer screening for men with examination of the prostate, external genitalia, skin and blood pressure
