The scope of preventive examinations offered by the statutory health insurance has recently been significantly reduced, so with this service we want to meet your wishes to have extended, private preventive care. Of course, we do not want to withhold these diagnostic options from you. However, you must bear the costs yourself. You will receive appointments for all of the preventive examinations mentioned above. Please be punctual for these appointments or cancel within 24 hours before the scheduled appointment so that we can accommodate other patients if necessary. Basic examinationIf you would like a preventive examination before the age of 35, you can choose the basic examination. It corresponds to the preventive examination of the statutory health insurance companies: Thorough physical examination, vaccination advice, determination of cholesterol (also HDL and LDL), triglycerides and blood sugar in the blood, control of height, weight, blood pressure and urine. J-PackWe have summarized frequently chosen supplements to the statutory prevention provision as a J-Pack (common provision in Japan): ECG, pulmonary function test, sonography of the abdominal organs, laboratory examination of liver, bile, pancreas and kidney values, uric acid, blood count and a stool test for blood in the stool. |

Premium checkIs usually chosen by patients over the age of 50 because it also provides information about arteriosclerosis and other diseases in old age: In addition to the J-pack, the carotid arteries are assessed using duplex sonography and the ABI (arteriosclerosis index) is measured using Doppler sonography. Additional laboratory parameters are: thyroid values, coagulation values, protein electrophoresis (shows altered proteins that can cause kidney and bone damage), inflammation and muscle parameters, tumor markers (e.g.: PSA) and test for Helicobacter (chronic colonization of the stomach can lead to stomach cancer). ). Optionally, the thyroid can also be assessed using sonography. All examinations are followed by individual advice in order to prevent illnesses by making lifestyle changes if necessary. |
